So I’ve kept you all waiting long enough.
After I made my bed of dirt, Paige decided it was time to hike Mt. Cuayamaca!
(Lets just say its MUCH bigger and MUCH prettier in person)
This is me hiking. The whole trip was 7 miles!
About 3 miles up we found this awesome bench. It was a memorial for someone I’ve never heard of… I was just happy to find a place to rest!
When we got back, I was so exhausted that I walked into the RV and fell asleep. I didn’t even wake for dinner!
It was such a fun camping trip. After that day we drove home. I slept on the couch (in my seatbelt, of course) on the drive home. Ever since that trip, whenever I take a walk at home (which is usually no more than 1.5 miles) I think about how much worse it could be (like.. 7 MILES!!)

7 miles? YIKES!!! Your legs must have felt like jello after that. I guess it was good exercise though.
ReplyDeleteYou hiked seven miles!! Wow!! That's a long hike!! The last time I hiked a mountain, I got lost and had to be rescued by the rangers that night...very embarrassing. I haven't hiked again!! (Not there anyway :) You better stretch out and take it easy for awhile and rest up! Beautiful pictures! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly
